Smoothies have been famously recognized as a healthy drink around the globe since the 1990s. It contains plenty of goodness such as beta-glucans and fibre. Try our Barley Smoothie recipe as a healthy morning starter or mid-day energy drink.
- Barley Atta 1 1⁄2 Tbsp
- Milk 1 cup
- Almond 1 Tsp
- Honey 15 Tbsp
- Vanilla essence 1⁄4 tsp
- Cinnamon powder 1⁄4 tsp
- Add 1 1⁄2 Tbsp (22gm) of Barley atta in a 1⁄2 cup (170gm) of milk and make a smooth paste.
- Add 1 tsp (5 gm) almonds, Barley- milk paste, 1 Tbsp (15gm) honey, 1⁄4 tsp vanilla essence, 1⁄4 tsp cinnamon powder and remaining 1⁄2 cup (170gm) of milk to a blender.
- Pulse till smooth and creamy. Can add ice if desired. Serve chill.
